Welcome to the railroad art site!

My name is Bill Morse and, starting in 1986, I began taking pictures of boxcar art, albeit 18 years after taking an interest in trains themselves, especially freight trains. Unless you see a credit, then all the posted photos are from me.

This website is about building community and so I invite your contributions, specifically those done with chalk or some other writing instrument, other than a can of spray paint. Covering up the carrier‘s data markings with paint is not art, it is vandalism. As you scroll through the galleries you will notice the difference.

And please remember that this site is under construction and is updated daily when time and energy permit.

Contact me with your feedback or contributions. lostnewlondon@gmail.com

Thank you!
